Arto Nurmikko is a Finnish engineer and physicist, currently the L. Herbert Ballou University Professor at Brown University and the Center for Advanced Materials Research's Director from 1989 to 2001. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences and [1][2][3]
