Usage

When a file on Wikipedia File namespace is marked for speedy deletion through {{di-replaceable fair use}}, use this template to dispute the speedy deletion. A {{di-replaceable fair use}} is used to mark a non-free (copyright-protected) file as covering a subject for which a free file of the same type (image or otherwise) that adequately provides the same information might reasonably be found or created, or which could be adequately covered with text alone. In turn this template might be used to counter that claim by providing a valid reason.

Syntax

{{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}

Parameters
Parameter Description
<your reason> The image of Lotti Golden in the infobox serves as the primary means of visual identification at the top of the article dedicated to the work in question. There is no free equivalent image showing the artist as she appeared in 1969, when her LP, "Motor-Cycle," for which she is best known, was released. Golden's distinctive image was her signature look, and is artistically linked to her critical musical contribution, "Motor-Cycle," (Atlantic Records). The visual image of the artist Lotti Golden makes a statement that is germane to the music/ lyrics informed by the NYC counterculture of the late '60s, and there is no other image available of Lotti Golden in 1969.
bgcolor=<CSS color> This named parameter changes the background color. It is not to be used in ordinary day-to-day use. Replace <CSS color> with a valid web color value.
This template should only be used on file description pages.
