DeNA and Davidseanh
Hi.
This Davidseanh person had re-added his vandalism to the DeNA page, so I reverted it again. Should we be worried about this individual in the future?

- Keep an eye on his contributions, and if he vandalises again, {{ping|ProgrammingGeek}} ping me. ProgrammingGeek (Page! • Talk! • Contribs!) 07:21, 3 August 2016 (UTC)
Help with an article you're reviewed
Hi ProgrammingGeek, you've reviewed this article which I posted JSCAPE and flagged it for improvement as it is written like an advertisement. When drafting this article I used info available on web in several place which I used as references. I would appreciate any feedback on what items I could update or remove to make this article aligned to Wikipedia guidelines and not to sound like an ad. Can you please let me know? Thanks. --Laviniaknowswiki (talk) 23:20, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
- Hi User:Laviniaknowswiki, Here's an example of what I was talking about:
In 2016, JSCAPE embarked in a partnership with Stonebranch, a modern workload automation solution provider. This strategic technology partnership was formed to deliver a network solution called Universal Data Mover Gateway (UDM Gateway), which has the ability to manage the flow of business critical data between organizations and their external trading partners.
Instead, to make this more neutral, try:
In 2016, JSCAPE formed a partnership with workload automation provider Stonebranch. This partnership was created to make a product known as Universal Data Mover Gateway (UDM Gateway), which manages the flow of important data between organisations.
It seems less promotional and has less flowery language. Thanks, ProgrammingGeek (Page! • Talk! • Contribs!) 17:32, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for your feedback. I'll update the page soon. --Laviniaknowswiki (talk) 03:35, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!
Hello, ProgrammingGeek. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

hexachlorobutadiene
Hi, I added the edit to the hexachlorobutadiene page about the Stockholm convention, and I'm wondering why you undid it. (It is true.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.26.188.48 (talk) 16:48, 16 December 2016 (UTC)
- Hi @108.26.188.48:
I removed your edit because you did not provide a reliable source. If you can find one please re-add the info! Thanks, ProgrammingGeek (Page! • Talk! • Contribs!) 23:53, 17 December 2016 (UTC)

please let me know, why you stated that "none of the concerns has been adressed.". All references are new and by reliable third-party resources.

22:26:03, 18 December 2016 review of submission by Ptregan
Sorry - but I'm not clear what is wrong with my submission. I have referenced the publication details and transcribed nformation from the album sleeve - what is missing?
Hi @Ptregan:
I rejected your AFC request because you did not provide a reliable source to prove notablilty. Thanks ProgrammingGeek (Page! • Talk! • Contribs!) 23:54, 18 December 2016 (UTC)

a) Title: project-open is styled in lower case with an closed bracket at the beginning and an open one at the end. From what I understand all I can do is using "lowercase title" as brackets are not allowed in article titles.
b) I have added a couple of more references. HEISE (h-online in the UK) is the #1 media outlet for IT related news in Germany. SILICON.DE follows on the 2nd/3rd place. All references are independent and reliable sources. The growing source code and the activity on sourceforge should underline the notability of the project.

Thanks for reviewing and accepting my first article, on Hendrik Wyermars! (Just one slight mistake: it is categorized under "1865 births" which should be "1685 births" but I don't know how to correct that.) Best wishes, Daniel Fannius (talk) 16:18, 19 December 2016 (UTC) |

Re: Bio-Cancer draft
What is still needed for the Bio-Cancer draft? I took charge of that draft after it was submitted by a new editor, who I believe has left the project since March. I fail to see what is now keeping this article from being created - there are six independent reliable sources that discuss the band in detail. There are two paragraphs on content. If I'd created this article directly, instead of going through AfC, I wouldn't see it nominated for deletion. Can you please explain exactly what the problem is?--3family6 (Talk to me | See what I have done) 15:18, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
- The page is create-protected. Please file a request to unprotect it at WP:RFPP. ProgrammingGeek (Page! • Talk! • Contribs!) 16:04, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks. I might also try moving it to a userspace draft. I feel responsible for this article, as I worked at mentoring the editor who submitted it.--3family6 (Talk to me | See what I have done) 19:39, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
