Welcome to WikiProject Addictions and recovery. This is the landing page for all those individuals seeking to collaborate on new projects within addictions and recovery on Wikipedia. This is a newish project, so there is much work to do. If you are both new to Wikipedia and new to recovery, feel free to look around and comment about topics that interest you or you feel should be expanded upon.
Several Wikipedians have formed this collaboration resource and group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of Addictions and recovery and the organization of information and articles on this topic. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians interested in the topic. If you would like to help, please join the project, inquire on the talk page and see the to-do list below.
Goals
- Create, improve, update and classify existing and new articles related to addictions and recovery.
Scope
- To create a project bridge engaging and discussing concepts of medical, psychiatric, and other health-influenced articles as they relate to addiction and recovery.
Guidelines
- Please keep discussions not relating to addictions and recovery on the talk page.
Open tasks
- Create category tree for the WikiProject, and an assessment panel.
- Create a banner for article talk pages, including article classes and priority ratings.
Participants
Please feel free to add yourself here, and to indicate any areas of particular interest.
