Jimmy Wales opinion piece

Should an article by Jimmy Wales be included if its in the Guardian? I'm asking as it's an opinion piece, not a bit of "news", and not sure whether its press coverage as its by Jimbo himself. My opinion is it probably shouldn't, but I'm just not sure. The article in question is here: http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/jan/15/wikipedia-israel-palestine-15-years-encyclopedia . Wikipedia was mentioned repeatedly in one BBC interview

Today on Woman's Hour, the presenter and her guests were discussing lying about one's age. Several of the speakers mentioned Wikipedia as, in effect, there no longer is any point in attempting to conceal such biographical details. This isn't press, exactly, but it is the BBC, and WH gets ~3million listeners. If this mention is deemed relevant, please add it. The episode in question.
