Behavioral and Brain Functions is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by BioMed Central with Open Access to all content. The journal publishes articles on "all aspects of neurobiology where the unifying theme is behavior or behavioral dysfunction".[1] It was established in 2005 with Terje Sagvolden as founding editor-in-chief. The current editors-in-chief are Vivienne A. Russell (University of Cape Town) and Rosemary Tannock (University of Toronto).

Abstracting and indexing

The journal is abstracted and indexed by PubMed, Science Citation Index, Chemical Abstracts Service, and Scopus.[1] According to the Journal Citation Reports, it has a 2013 impact factor of 2.00.[2]
