Adlam is a Unicode block containing characters from the Adlam alphabet, which is an alphabetic script was devised during the late 1980s for writing the Fula language in Guinea, Nigeria, Liberia and other nearby countries. The proposal was helped by Michael Everson.[3] The next version of the Noto font will implement it.[3]
