  • Date: Wednesday, November 23rd, 2016
  • Time: 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
  • Location: SFU: Surrey, Galleria 5, Rm 5080
  • Participants: No Wikipedia editing experience necessary. Tutoring will be provided for Wikipedia newcomers as needed throughout the event.
  • Registration: Registration information can be found on the SFU website.

Please bring a laptop with you! (Please note SFU does not have a guest wireless network. For non-university guests, there is access to EduRoam.)

What can I work on?

The theme for this Edit-a-Thon is Indigenous Film and Media. The focus is on the Canadian context. There are a number of ways you can contribute to Wikipedia . You can create or enhance Wikipedia articles, add external links, verify and update citations, provide resources to help those writing articles, and assist with research.
