BoxBoxBoy! is a puzzle platform game developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS handheld game console. The game was released in Japan on January 6, 2016,[1] and in other territories on June 30, 2016.[2] BoxBoxBoy! is a sequel to BoxBoy! which was released in 2015.[1]

Reception

The game received positive reviews from critics.[3] Destructoid wrote that it had a "simplistic elegance". [4] The gaming magazine Game Informer stated that it was "remarkably similar" to it's predecessor and failed to expand on the original concept, but that these were not "bad things". [5]
