Compat Issues RE MIDI

I don't quite see how MIDI is a compat issue -- as the article does not say that there were or are any issues with this transition. 122.111.190.250 (talk) 04:34, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The issue is that many or even most MIDI players do or did not understand the RIFF-wrapped MIDI, but only the original MIDI file format. --L.Willms (talk) 06:28, 28 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
