These three rather different terms are uncomfortable together in one article. They're too long to be different senses in a dictionary definition (where controlled variable would be a "see also"), and too short to be standalone articles.

I have brought out the relationship of these three terms, but I don't know if we can find an independent RS doing that. The article probably should be deleted.
