Features not new to Windows XP
- Support for ACPI existed in Windows 2000 (including sleep, hibernate, etc.)
- The interface enhancements in Windows Me came from Windows 2000 development (even though Me was released first).
- Support for WinSxS existed in Windows 2000.

I recall Standby and Hibernate being in Windows Me, and I'm pretty sure that Standby was in Windows 98. Also, Windows 2000 was released first out of Windows 2000 (February 2000) and Windows Me (September 2000), despite having a slightly higher version number. --Evice 19:30, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
