Shouldn't this article perhaps have the {{JavaScript}} template? יוסף שמח (talk) 08:17, 22 October 2012 (UTC)

Article name
So, I'm a bit confused as to how this article got lowercased TWICE without any entry in the move log for either move. Or why, it is an acronym after all! —SamB (talk) 22:45, 15 April 2015 (UTC)

Drawbacks
Should we remove some of the listed drawbacks? Some of the points (eg the one about screenreaders having issues) are citing research that is almost ten years old! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.203.240.194 (talk) 15:32, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
Intro Paragraphs
The first paragraph defines AJAX as web development "techniques". And the second paragraph defies AJAX as "technologies". Which is it?
Revise to: AJAX is a set of web development techniques utilizing many web technologies. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.218.199.85 (talk) 16:25, 30 October 2015 (UTC)

Better example?
As described in the intro, the real power of Ajax is that "it allows web pages, and by extension web applications, to change content dynamically without the need to reload the entire page".
The current example has the advantage of being absolutely minimal, but the disadvantage is that it does not demonstrate the real power or common use of the technology, ie modifying just part of a web page dynamically without needing to reload the entire page.
There are many better examples out there which are just a little more complex but demonstrate a more real life use of Ajax - for example: http://www.w3schools.com/ajax/tryit.asp?filename=tryajax_first
In the above example, we start with a web page, then make an Ajax request to the server and use the response to modify part of the page.
How about changing the example, or adding a second example? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Camerojo (talk • contribs) 12:15, 4 February 2016 (UTC)
compare/contrast with WebSockets?
I'm no expert on this stuff, but it seems to me that AJAX is (to some extent) being superseded by WebSockets, so it seems to me that some comparison could be provided here. (But I don't know nearly enough to even take a stab at writing it.) —Steve Summit (talk) 20:59, 3 March 2016 (UTC)
Logo?
So some guy created a pretty logo and that was enough to put it on Wikipedia like it's official logo of some idea??? Can I make a logo for prime number? That page doesn't have a logo yet. 5.12.180.218 (talk) 01:48, 25 March 2016 (UTC)

- Yeah, since when is AJAX a brand? Can I also create a logo for functional programming because I like it? Or how about an "official" logo for for method chaining? Or arrays?
