Three Paddlefloats.

A Paddle float may be used for reentry into a kayak after a capsize in open water. It may also be used for a reentry and roll, or for training a kayak roll. Paddle floats made of foam usually have less buoyancy, but may be easier to handle in cold conditions.

Paddle float is a safety device used in self rescue. It is made with inflatable sleeve which can be strapped to the blade of a paddle, to transform an ordinary paddle into a paddle with float. When deployed, the ensuring paddle with float can help a kayaker get back into his/her kayak.

It is an important piece of equipment for paddler who goes out into open water.[1]
