Luna is the codename for the default Windows XP theme. As its final name is simply "Windows XP", it is usually referred to by its codename. Luna has been enhanced in Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 with Royale, and will be removed entirely in Windows Vista in favor of Aero Glass.
