A successful run for adminship generally requires:
Trust
Experience
Content creation

Trust

Candidates must have the trust of the community. They are commonly well-mannered, show good judgement, and ideally have a clean block log, or at least one that has been clean for over a year.

Experience

Successful candidates usually have thousands of edits and plenty of experience, including in one or two areas where they are ready to use the admin tools.

Content creation

Candidates who have created or expanded articles typically do better at their RfA than those who have not.
