Pattern language may refer to:

  • Pattern language is a structured method of documenting good design practices in architecture, software engineering, and other design disciplines
  • A Pattern Language, a famous book on architecture by Christopher Alexander, which describes 253 fundamental concepts – design patterns – of architecture and their interconnections to create an illustrated discussion and to support an understanding of architecture
