Speedy Deletion
Not totally without merit, as there is mention on NPR here and New York Magazine here, as well as other places that I haven't pulled up yet. This is the only organization advocating for the legality of fanworks at present (see legal issues with fan fiction, and it has a significant impact and integral part of the legal issues related to fan fiction and other fan works. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Elatb (talk • contribs) 15:15, 30 August 2009

The Archive of Our Own is also mentioned in a Time article, but I'm not sure which section that would best fit under. Cesyavon (talk) 19:47, 17 July 2011 (UTC)
Updating/Adding Citations to Final Paragraph on Archive of Our Own (AO3)
Hello, everybody! I am a new editor(as of Feb. 2016) who would welcome feedback. I've been adding new material to this page this week, and I am trying to find citations for the final paragraph in the section on AO3, which doesn't include any citations. I searched for but can't find the review it mentions, nor can I find anything else that duplicates its findings. I am writing around that paragraph rather than going into it to make changes. I flagged the paragraph "needs citation" and will leave it up for the time being. I did find other statistical analyses, which I have added and cited in their own paragraph. Feel free to comment and let me know how you think I might best proceed. Thank you! Frescadp (talk) 17:09, 10 February 2016 (UTC)
- Hi, again, fellow Wikipedians!
- Amendment to my above note: There's been a warning box about "possible original research" up on the AO3 section since December 2015, the original editor has now had 2 months to add citations. Since they didn't cite their findings, as I find citable info, I am adding it and then removing the corresponding uncited info. Let me know if there are any questions or concerns. Peace! :) Frescadp (talk) 16:22, 12 February 2016 (UTC)
