CESNET is Czech Republic's National Research and Education Network (NREN) operator. It has been founded in 1996 by universities and the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.


Backbone

Fiber optic backbone ring based on DWDM technology connects Prague, Brno, Olomouc and Hradec Kralove with bandwidth up to 32 x 10 Gbps.
