Frequency assignment

Assignment (of a radio frequency or radio frequency channel) (also: frequency assignment | short: assignment) is – according to Article 1.18 of the International Telecommunication Union´s (ITU) Radio Regulations (RR)[1] – defined as «Authorization given by an administration for a radio station to use a radio frequency or radio frequency channel under specified conditions.»
