namebench is an open-source Domain Name System (DNS) benchmark utility by Google, Inc,[1] which is licensed under the Apache License, version 2.0.[2] The software is available for Mac OS X, Windows, and UNIX.[1] Its purpose is to find the fastest DNS server one could use.[1]
