Haskell Class Attack Transports were a World War II derivative of the VC2-S-AP5 Victory ship design.

The VC2-S-AP5 design was intended for the movement of over 1,000 troops and their equipment. They included landing craft to deliver the troops to shore.

The Haskell class ships were armed with 1x 5" cannon, 12x 40mm guns, and 10x 20mm guns.

Haskell class attack transports included APA-117, USS Haskell, the lead ship through APA-247, the never completed USS Mecklenburg.
