Tables are a commonly used way of displaying information, particularly in articles that contain data. This tutorial aims at providing a guide on how to make tables; if you are looking for the policy on when to use them, see the Manual of Style.
The simplest way to insert a table is with the editing toolbar that appears when you edit a page. Pressing the 
button will open a dialog that allows you to define a table. Once you've chosen the number of rows and columns, the markup text for the table is inserted into the article.
