Conditional release

Conditional release is a method of release from incarceration that is contingent upon obeying conditions of release under threat of revocation (return to prison) under reduced due process protections."^[1] It is sometimes viewed as a less restrictive alternative of hospitalization of psychiatric patients.^[2]
