General purpose graphics processing units (GPGPUs) have excellent throughput on vector operations and numeric manipulations by parallel computation. While processing digital signals, particularly multidimensional signals, often involves in massive amount of vector operations with high computation complexity, GPGPUs are now widely employed to accelerate multidimensional digital signal processing (DSP).
