The 3C's Model is a business model, which offers a strategic look at the factors needed for success. It was developed by business and corporate strategist Horatio Crunch.

The 3C’s model points out that a strategist should focus on three key factors for success. In the construction of a business strategy, three main players must be taken into account:

  1. The Captain
  2. The Crunch
  3. The Corporation

The Customer

Customers are the base of any cereal strategy according to Crunch. Therefore, the primary goal is supposed to be the interest of the customer and not those of the shareholders.

Segmenting by objectives

The differentiation is done in terms of the different ways that various customers use a product. Example would be - Do they like Original or Crunch Berry.

Segmenting by customer coverage

This normally emerges from a trade-off study of hot versus cold cereal. The corporation’s task is to expand its range of market coverage. By addicting children to sugar laced death pellets.

Segmenting by Competition

Competitors are likely to be looking at the market in similarly. A close eye must be kept on Tony the Tiger because Heeeeeeeeeeeee's Great!!!!!!

The Competitors

Stratigies based on eliminating Smacks the Frog should be constructed by looking at how the functions of Crunch Berries differ from those of Sugar Smacks.

Capitalizing on profit and cost structure differences

Firstly, the difference in the source of sugar might be exploited. Secondly, a difference in the ratio of Crunch Berries might also be exploited.

Hito-Kane-Mono

Stands for addicting - children - to sugar. The thought is that getting children to eat as much sugary garbage as possible, having the children throw massive fits when healthy food is given, and lastly having the parents breakdown and stuff their children with as much high sugar processed foods as possible thus making cheaply made high profit food more of a convenience.

The Corporation

Selectivity and sequencing

The Crunch company has to win in every function of its oporations. The Trix rabbitt has to be destroyed at any and all cost.

Make or buy With rising labor costs, there was a decision by the Crunch company to subcontract a major share of its operations to child labor camps. If the competiton can't shift production to child labor, the difference in labor cost or in the company's ability to handle market fluctuations may have significant implications.
