Freecode or freshmeat?

Open Hub vs. Freshcode

The article says "However, Open Hub also lists open source projects and already offers more information on projects than Freecode." This, however, is not strictly true, as the two sites focus on different parts of projects. Open Hub gathers statistics on used languages, licenses, contributors, and lines of code per language. It is meant and optimized for analyzing and finding structural information on open source projects.
