PDS is stands for Project data service. PDS is a web service in order to connect with MS Project 2003.PDS exposes several methods in order to manipulate PojectServer database. The PDS implements a SOAP listener, which receives method calls in Extensible Markup Language (XML) format and returns an XML response. The Client application can programmatically log on to the Project server using PDS.MS Project database is highly secured, PDS is the best way to connect Project Server
