Absolute Linux is a light Linux distribution that works on old hardware and is based on Slackware Linux designed for everyday use (internet, multimedia, documents). Its default window manager is IceWM. Some of the programs offer by default include: GIMP, OpenOffice, web browser Chrome, Xfburn, p7zip, AbiWord, IM, Pidgin. Its IceWM interface is clean and fast and uses little memory or cpu. Absolute Linux is compatible with Slackware, and supports nearly every packages of Slackware.[1]
