Solutions
BioBam develops and provides solutions for the functional annotation and analysis of genomics data sets to the scientific community. The most well-known product is Blast2GO which has been cited by over 2000 scientific citations [2] by 2014. Blast2GO is a user-friendly solution for functional genomics specially for non-model organism research [3]. Blast2GO is an all-in-one solution for functional annotation of novel sequences and the genome-wide analysis of annotation data. BioBam has been founded in 2011 by Dr. Ana Conesa and Dr. Stefan Götz and is now internationally recognised for its solutions and expertise in functional annotation and genome analysis[7]. The managing director of BioBam is Dr. Stefan Götz.
