The DO Lectures is an annual festival[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11] that started in 2008 in the west coast of Wales by Clare and David Hieatt [12][13] and now happens in California, Australia[14] and Costa Rica[15]. Do Lectures speakers are change-makers and professionals across all industries from technologists, to entrepreneurs, to social change activists, to medical professionals. They are provided 20 minutes to give the 'talk of their life' and in doing so, provide insight to how they do, what has worked for them; to motivate, inspire and encourage attendees.

the Do Lectures tagline is ideas + energy = change.

the Do Lectures are provided online for free across the topics: Adventure, Change, Creativity, Founder Wisdom, Environment, Food, Wellbeing, and Soul Food.

Previous speakers include Sir Tim Bernes Lee, Marion Deuchars, Maggie Doyne, David Allen, Michael Acton Smith. Perry Chen, and Timothy Ferriss.

the Welsh Assembly sponsored the Do Lectures in support of innovation and sustainability in Wales.[16]
