Inductive sensor is a kind of sensor which utilize Electro Magnetic Field detect object. The field is generated by copper coil. The object absort the electromagnetic field emitted hence cause a damp on the oscilation circuitry link to the coil. As the damping reach a set trash hold, the sensor will switch.

As the object must be a body which assorb electromagnetic field, the target object must be metal in nature.
