This request sounds like a call for "The Story of Mel, A Real Programmer", from the Jargon File in several versions. It is a classic piece of "free verse", celebrating the exploits of a hardware hacker in (approximately) the 1950s (references to "drum memory" etc.), trying to survive in a world where Marketdroids are starting to get in the way of engineering. "Programming"? What's that? Oh, you mean setting up the problem in the machine's own codes? Well, why didn't you say so?"
