It is not shown on its member pages, unless the corresponding user preference (Appearance → Show hidden categories) is set.

This category appears when a Glottolog code is added to a language info box without the name of the language in 'glottoname' or 'glottorefname' (rarely in 'glotto2' etc.). In such cases the reference will use the default name of the article. This is potentially a problem because it may not be the name used by Glottolog, and if it is, it will no longer be if the name in the infobox is changed, in which case the reference will be wrong.

Articles have been scanned for mismatches in the first 4 letters of the name (the part used in the glottolog code) only. Often the name will differ later than that, as when Glottolog uses a disambiguating name.
