Who's that supermodel called Markov?

How about an introduction what a Markov model is? This is a poor article, more of a stub.

A warning box on the main page says there are multiple issues with this article. Unfortunatley I could not see any notes saying what these issues are. Could the person(s) responsible for the warning box please clarify what they are worried about? Thanks.217.44.113.22 (talk) 16:30, 17 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

... um, rewrite the first sentence in English so that mere mortals can understand it? Seriously, I think the statement "doesn't provide enough context for people unfamiliar with the subject" covers it. [[80.0.73.109 (talk) 10:59, 26 September 2014 (UTC)]][reply]

The lede and introduction have been rewritten for better understanding by non-experts. I'll therefore delete that issue from the issues box. Fuzzypeg 21:27, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
