A coarse reader is a publication type used for teaching in universities and academe.[citation needed] A coarse reader is made up of a collection of existing texts, course slides and notes etc. Common forms of coarse readers include; photocopy packs or PDF documents. Coarse readers require copyright clearance.[1]
