Script development

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Girolamo Savonarola (talk | contribs) at 14:14, 23 July 2006 (moved Development (film) to Script development: development of film usually refers to photochemical development; script development is clearer and less ambiguous). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

Development, in the context of the film industry, is the process by which a film project progresses (or doesn't) from the germ of an idea to greenlight status, at which point it can go into production.
