History

Established on May 11 of 1952 as a result of an attempt alternative music and entertainment program, additional, to the First Program. Originally broadcast in 666 kilocycles and later at the 93.6 FM (where later emitted the Kosmos 93.6). The program of the station was originally focused on good Greek music and theatrical performances, which were broadcast by the Second Schedule.


The second program, and because of the advantage was, sounding words throughout the Greek territory, was the top in ratings musical radio ERT in the region, with many fans.

On June 11 2013, when a decision of the Government Antonis Samaras 2012 for [[Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation The second program stopped operation. From then until November 7 of that year the Second Program broadcast four hours to 24 hours from a single network.


On Monday, December 16 the same year the Second Schedule reopened the ERT Open<ref>The second program opens microphones, again, Monday </ ref>.

A year after, Monday, December 15, 2014, the Second Program began its operation and the NERIT as Second Program NERIT.
