The International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) is a standard that is beginning to be adopted in libraries, museums and art galleries. My relationship to the topic is that I have been working on IIIF-compatible technology for the British Library and the Wellcome Library. I am not an author of the framework specification itself.
