National Minimum Dataset is a term usually seen in the Health setting that refers to a database of health encounters held by a central repository.

The word 'minimum' refers to the concept that the data fields will be only those required to aggregate information for the purposes of administering the health system in the particular country and for reporting information required as a member country of WHO.
