The pygmy Mulga monitor or stripe-tailed goanna' (Varanus gilleni) is a species of monitor lizards native to northwestern and central Australia.[2] They eat insects, lizards, small mammals, and eggs.

Description

In a vivarium

Pygmy Mulga monitors are arboreal, with prehensile tails. They grow to around 35 cm in total length, 10 cm of which is tail. The upper surface is brown, grading to grey at the sides. The nostrils are positioned slightly to one side of the muzzle.[3] They weigh, on average, 60–80 g.[4]
