The Texas Adanced Computing Center, located in Austin, Texas, is a research center that is part of the University of Texas system. It's purpose, according to its website, is to "enhance the research and education programs of the University of Texas at Austin and its partners through research, development, operation, and support of advanced computing technologies."[1] It employs multiple advanced computing resources, including but not limited to high performance computing, advanced scientific visualization, and massive data storage systems.
