![]() Welcome to the WikiProject page for the Newcomb Archives and Vorhoff Library Special Collections! NAVLSC's mission is to collect, preserve, and make accessible primary resources and rare or unique materials to all researchers regardless of institutional affiliation. If you are interested in helping please leave your username in the participants section. If you have any questions please feel free to post them on the talk page. ScopeThis project is intended to facilitate the sharing of our unique collections with the Wikipedia community. The NAVLSC is part of the Newcomb College Institute of Tulane University. We collect, preserve, and make available records and manuscript materials that document the lives of women, particularly those that relate to women's education, the history of women at Newcomb College and Tulane University, the American South, culinary history, and the work of women in general. In addition, we maintain a non-circulating special collection library devoted to women's education, prescriptive literature, culinary history, Newcomb authors, third wave feminist zines, and other topics related to the historic women's college of the University.
