Dean Duperron

Dean Duperron is currently the President and CEO of The Duperron Group, which is largely a real estate investment firm that also provides business mentorship to young entrepreneurs, angel funding and educational development. Since the early 1990s, Mr. Duperron has been a strong real estate investor, originally purchasing small single-family dwellings, and eventually moving to purchasing solid investment multi-family homes in both Canada and the United States.

Dean Duperron works at Sprott-Shaw Community College It is a well known college throughout Canada and beyond. Duperron purchased the educational institution with a partner in 1991. At the time, the school consisted of one classroom with 26 students. During his tenure at the helm of Sprott-Shaw Community College, it grew to 24 campuses in British Columbia, as well as multiple global satellite schools, and began to include degree programs. Duperron also spearheaded the innovative Class Act scholarship program.

Class Act Canada is a program that was devised to showcase British Columbia as the best place to live and learn. The Class Act scholarship program challenged entrants to upload a:60 to:90 second video to the Internet. They focused on “What would I do to improve my community with a degree or a diploma from Sprott-Shaw College”. The 10 winning students came from countries that included Peru, Ukraine, India, Korea, Philippines and Canada, and were selected by judges. That was after more than 7.7 million votes were cast worldwide between September and December 2009.

Dean Duperron currently serves on the Residential Construction Industry Training of British Columbia (RCITO) board and on the Executive Board, as the Treasurer, of the Professional Builders Institute of British Columbia (PBIBC). PBIBC’s mission is to “increase the professionalism of residential building, through education, training, and certification. They collaborate with BC Housing to develop a recommendation and process for minimum qualification standards required for certification and licensing” (pbibc.ca Mission and Mandate). These duties show Dean Duperron direct involvement in deciding the qualifications required for residential construction professionals in British Columbia. RCITO defines the overall industry training needs in British Columbia, establishes training and occupational standards, promotes training programs, quantifies training results, and sponsors new apprentices. RCITO specifically concentrates on five industries in the residential construction sector that include new home building and renovation; log and timber building; forced air, hydronic and geothermal residential heating; aboriginal housing; and residential maintenance. Duperron served on this board as the Chair of the Accreditation Committee for over 10 years.

The Duperron Group presently owns several real estate holdings, including a 28 unit multifamily apartment building in British Columbia. They also own and operate a multi-building, multifamily apartment complex in Houston, Texas, as well as several single and dual family homes. They previously owned commercial real estate. In 2011, Dean Duperron was honored with two awards from the Real Estate Investing Network (REIN) – Rookie of the Year and the Top Player. The REIN organization boasts 3500 members, $3.5B in investment in Canada and is Canada’s foremost choice for any investor who wishes to be successful in real estate.

Reddy, released on 15 September 1931 and ‘Kalidas’ (Tamil) produced by Ardeshir Irani and directed by H.M. Reddy released on 31 October 1931. These two films are south India’s first talkie films to have a theatrical release.Malayalam movie ‘My Dear Kuttichetan’ dubbed in Hindi film ‘Chhota Chetan’ was first Indian 3D film and it was also quite success. It had been very much liked by children.Film ‘Sholay’ directed by Ramesh sippy is first Indian film to celebrate Silver Jubilee in hundred Cinema halls which broke the all records of success. The story of the film wrote famous author Saleem Khan. In this film star cast were Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Sanjeev Kumar, Amjad Khan, Hema Malini, Jaya Bhaduri and etc.
