LXLE Linux is a remastered implementation of Ubuntu/Lubuntu LTS releases, which currently uses the LXDE desktop interface. It attempts to improve upon the original linux operating system by minimizing demand it puts on system resources, while simultaneously being capable of running the majority of linux applications while allowing for multi-tasking.[1][2] While it lacks in certain features more traditional operating systems such as a quick star menu or a side bar, it does feature a login screen and accommodates older forms of hardware.[1] LXLE also features an atom-driven option for older computers or network by further reducing graphical quality, but providing more performance in return.[3] According to the full circle magazine, while LXLE suffers from some localization issues, it has been classified as "light and fast" as well as "stable".[4]
