Christopher King (born January 12, 1983 is an American Systems Administrator and a current resident of the State of Nebraska.
Early life
King was born in McCook, Nebraska and grew up in Fremont, Nebraska. He is the son of Kathy (née Karl], a neonatal nurse, and Bradley King, a deputy sheriff. King graduated High School in 2001 at Fremont Senior High School in Fremont, NE.
Career
King began working as a corrections officer in 2002 at the age of 19 in hopes of eventually becoming a police officer. He worked at Dodge County Corrections until 2006 when he was hired, trained and commissioned as a police officer with the Lincoln Police Department. After less than a year, King left the Lincoln Police Department to find work closer to home. Still seeking a career in Law Enforcement, King rejoined Dodge County Corrections and eventually became a full-time police officer with the Fremont Police Department from 2008 to 2010.
After nearly three years in policing, King left policing behind to explore other career options. He decided a career in computers was a better fit and received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Bellevue University in 2013. He is currently a systems administrator for Kiewit Corporation, a global construction and mining company headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska.
Military Career
Mr. King was a member of the Nebraska Air National Guard's 155th Air Refueling Wing from 2004 to 2010.
