The IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society (TEMS) [1][2][3] was formerly one of seven Councils of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). The Council became the [IEEE Technology Engineering and Management Society (TEMS)] as of 01 January, 2015.

History

The Professional Group on Engineering Management was established under the Institute of Radio Engineers in 1951. This Group became the Engineering Management Society (EMS) of the IEEE in 1955. In 2007 the EMS became the IEEE Technology Management Council (TMC).

On 24 June, 2014, IEEE Board of Directors approved the transition of TMC to the Technology Engineering and Management Society (TEMS) effective from 01 January, 2015.
