Philosopher's Propeller (賢者のプロペラ, Kenja no Puropera) is the eighth solo album by Susumu Hirasawa, the first to be completely self-released. It was inspired by Myanmarese alchemy,[1] and several song names come from Latin terms pertaining to the alchemical magnum opus. It was also released online, albeit the songs had variable differences in their arrangement from the album version.[2]
Remixed songs from the album appear in the 2001 anime film Millennium Actress, which Hirasawa composed the soundtrack for.
