Philosopher's Propeller (賢者のプロペラ, Kenja no Puropera) is the eighth solo album by Susumu Hirasawa, the first to be completely self-released. It was inspired by Myanmarese alchemy, and several song names come from Latin terms pertaining to the alchemical magnum opus.

Notes
- Philosopher's Propeller was also released online, albeit the songs had variable differences in their arrangement from the album version.[1]
- In 2001, Hirasawa composed the soundtrack to the anime film Millennium Actress, which featured remixed versions of some of the album's songs.
- "Rotation (LOTUS-2)" is a sequel to "Lotus" from Sim City. It was the made to be the credits theme for Millennium Actress, at the request of its director and long-time Hirasawa fan, Satoshi Kon.
