CBUF-FM is a Canadian radio station, which broadcasts the programming of Radio-Canada's Première Chaîne network throughout the province of British Columbia. The station broadcasts at 97.7 FM in Vancouver.

The station was first launched in 1967 as the first Radio-Canada station west of Ontario. It broadcasts from the CBC Regional Broadcast Centre on Hamilton Street in Downtown Vancouver.

CBUF also serves as the Première Chaîne outlet for the Yukon Territory, by way of a repeater in Yellowknife.

Programming

The station's local programs are Phare ouest, hosted by Julie Carpentier, in the mornings and Le Pont des arts, hosted by Yolaine Mottet, in the afternoons.

The transmitter in Whitehorse is not owned by the CBC, but is licensed to the Association Franco-Yukonnaise.[1]
